We may collect documents uploaded by you, including PDF, image, Excel, Word, scanned documents, screenshots, statements, certificates and tax records. We may also collect usage and technical information including IP address, device information, browser type, operating system, login time, pages visited, clicks and actions, app usage data, cookies, error logs and approximate location based on IP where applicable.

2. Purpose of Collection and Use

We use your information for creating and managing your Spice Tax account, verifying identity and taxpayer details, collecting information required for tax filing, preparing tax computation, filing Income Tax Returns, providing tax advisory and support, communicating document requirements, sending filing status updates, responding to tax notices if service is availed, processing payments and invoices, maintaining service records, improving the Platform, detecting fraud or misuse, complying with legal and regulatory obligations, sending deadline alerts and relevant updates, internal training, quality control, audit, analytics and product improvement.

3. Legal Basis and Consent

By using Spice Tax, creating an account, uploading documents, making payment or requesting services, you consent to collection, storage, use and processing of your personal information for the purposes mentioned in this Privacy Policy. If necessary information is not provided, we may not be able to provide or complete the requested service.

Tax filing may require collection of sensitive financial and identity-related information. We collect such information only for lawful and service-related purposes and take reasonable care to protect sensitive information such as PAN, Aadhaar-related details, bank details, income details, tax records and uploaded documents.

We may share your information only where necessary with the Income Tax Department or other government authorities, authorised tax experts and professionals, employees and consultants of CFINANCIO Consulting LLP, payment gateway providers, cloud hosting providers, IT and cybersecurity vendors, communication providers such as SMS, email and WhatsApp service providers, legal or audit advisors, regulators, courts, law enforcement agencies or government authorities where required by law, and third-party service providers necessary for providing the service.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
